About the artist

Adrian Pocobelli (b. 1979) is an Italian-Canadian artist based in Berlin, Germany. His work focuses on digital art, primarily created on a smartphone or tablet, but he is also deeply engaged in exploring how images transform as they move across different mediums. In addition to digital formats, he works in various physical media. Pocobelli shares his insights through a video journal on YouTube and hosts a weekly live Spaces on X, also available on Spotify.

About the artwork

Annunciation was created specifically for the Primavare Digitale festival and is part of the Screen Memories series, in which Pocobelli masks iconic Renaissance artworks using native digital effects and colors.
