This artwork is the most recent in a series forming part of a broader body of work focused on digital painting integrated with AI tools. In this piece, the artist explores Midjourney’s personalization feature, guiding image generation through reproductions of their own paintings.

Created specifically for the 2025 Primavera Digitale event, themed around the Renaissance, the piece touches on issues central to the historical period—both in literal and conceptual terms.

On a formal level, Renaissance archetypes such as drapery, iconography, and perspective are transposed into a contemporary setting, symbolized by graffiti and diverse ethnic figures. Conceptually, the work engages with the Renaissance interest in nature, reinterpreted here through a focus on perception, as reflected in the artist’s approach to rendering and visual structure.
